I Want to Ask You To Ask Me...

I hope you're all having a lovely week so far!
I am so happy to be finished with exams for this week, and I am currently sitting at one of my favorite cafes enjoying the sunshine and working on my NaNoWriMo. Yes, I decided to take part in this super cool idea after hearing about it from some of you and a good friend of mine who is also participating. I'm not much of a fiction writer, so I'm not really writing a novel, but instead working on a writing project I've wanted to start on for quite some time now. This was the perfect incentive to get a jumpstart on it. If you've not heard of NaNoWriMo, you should check it out; I added the link above for you to get some more information if you're curious!
It's been a pretty good week. I got a keratin treatment for my hair yesterday since my hair had gotten pretty dry after the color processing I've subjected it to recently. I cannot say enough about how much I seriously love my hair now. The keratin process is a great restorative that adds the protein back into your hair strands to make it as healthy as it was when it first grew in at the top. Most celebrities and news personalities have this treatment done to their hair, which is why their strands looks so fabulous and shiny! (Aha! I've discovered their secret!) It makes your hair smooth, soft, shiny and has body, but it doesn't frizz at all!! The humidity is pretty intense sometimes where I live, so this is amazing to have during that time. It lasts for 3 months; awesome!! I recommend this to anyone who would love to have their ideal hair. (Ok, I'll get off the soap box now) But seriously, it's done wonders for my naturally curly and dry hair.

I've been perusing some international boutiques online lately for fashion inspiration, and I stumbled across the cutest English boutique called Luphia. If you haven't checked out their blog, go do it now! So so cute! I purchased the prettiest pink sweater from their shop, and I absolutely love the sweet, girly feel of their designs.

I also have to share with you some of my other finds that I think are just lovely.
This website has the best collection of adorable shoes, dresses, skirts..etc from the Asian part of the world. I absolutely love it; many things have been added to my christmas wish list already!!
Take a peek..

There's so much to love about France..their style, music, dance, food..etc. I dream of visiting the Repetto Store in Paris someday! It's everything lovely, feminine and intricate.
The intro video for their website is just beautiful in itself.
Take a look at their store..oh my!

They make both dance and street shoes..their flats and oxfords are absolutely wonderful. I'd like them to just stock my closet full, please!

On another note, I always enjoy reading the question and answer sessions that I've seen on fellow blog pages..I thought I'd open up the floor here for any questions that you may have for me about..well, anything! Ask away :)

I wanted to leave you with a thought before I go to finish some online homework..how exciting.

"Happiness is based on circumstances but joy comes from the Lord."

I was reminded of how I can't always control the circumstances around me, but I can and do know that joy is possible because I know that God works out everything for our good! How refreshing and encouraging that can be in the midst of whatever you and I are going through!

Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Blessings and Joy,

yes, we can always trust in the Lord. The enemy can make our ground shaky, but he can't steal our joy and delight in the Lord. Have an awesome week and good luck with the writing project! Can't wait to hear about that in our letters.

:) The writing project sounds like so much fun! I would love to try this out sometime in Dec or something. I do a lot of fiction writing on the side, outside from work :) Hmm, but a novel in 30 days is quite a challenge :) I wish you the best of luck! I'm sure you can do it!

What kind of Keratin treatment did you use? Or did you go to a salon? The ends of my hair have been really dry lately and I've been using oils to hydrate it back.

Ooh, the fashion sites are great :) I've never shopped at Yesstyle but there is a lot of cute stuff :)

So much love to you and the family!
p.s. I've been to the Repetto Store in Paris two times, and it is indeed, just as enchanting as you could ever imagine... I believe you will go there to experience the magic in person someday...

that keratin treatment seems to be really good! And I wanted to ask you where do you live? How old are you?:)
and indeed, Repetto's store is beautiful!

The keratin treatment looks very good; is it very expensive to get it done? And I love the variety and style of the clothing on yesstyle, but I wasn't very satisfied with the fit and quality of the items I ordered. I think it's pretty much a hit or miss with most of the items on their items.

your hair looks amazing after the keratin treatment. i know what you mean, about how the hair turns out after all the color. i miss how my hair used to be so soft, and silky, as compared to now. even so, that's a beautiful color on you, candice. :)

and true enough, that joy comes from the Lord. a very timely reminder indeed. :) thanks for sharing, it's definitely very encouraging.

much love! x

Hi sweetie! :) Yes, I totally wanted to take part in NaNoWriMo this time around, unfortunately it would be insane to add that on to my workload for this semester! As I type this I'm actually taking a break from my crazy Literature essay. haha. Eep!

And aww how beautiful do you look?! Answer: VERY! I can't wait to get my hair trimmed and highlighted next month (after the crazy exams are over).

Take care love. x
