New Found Favorite

Bonjour mes amis! I have to tell you all about my new favorite place to get fashion inspiration..
Shabby Apple. com

It reminds me a whole lot of ModCloth which is always brimming over with cute things, but its also got a charming look of its own! The company is completely web-based and has been featured in multiple media organizations such as Teen Vogue, InStyle and more! The website is completely adorable and offers personalized style advice, clothing for individual body types, and lots of cute accessories to accompany the outfits. They do a lot of work with charity organizations, and if I lived in Salt Lake City, I would totally apply to be an intern there! They are pretty reasonably priced, and if your dress doesn't fit correctly or you change your mind, you can send it back and they will send you a new one for free! How cool is that? I've invested a good amount of time just browsing the lovely pictures of pretty frocks and accessories..I am sure you'll find something you just love here!

The Greening Effect

Listening to:  Light Up the Sky: The Afters

As I look out my window by the desk, the sun is just setting and the world seems to be glowing the palest of lime greens. It's that moment right before you know the clouds are going to burst forth with showers, or perhaps the quiet rumble of thunder will continue to fade as the summer storm changes direction. The cicadas are chirping and it seems as though magic could sparkle through at any moment. The air is damp with moisture it wants to rain down upon the dry ground. We'll see if this storm makes it through.. Either way, I just want to curl up with some tea and a good book..here's a few suggestions of well loved ones that are on my bookshelf.

Snapshots of Summer

It seems like ages since my last post, and indeed it has been quite some time since we talked last. I hope you are doing well!  My 6 week adventure has come to a close, and the trip back home has also ended. Looking back, I can honestly say that I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every minute of the journey (hindsight is 20/20, you know!). Today was a family day that included some pink, ice cream, taebo and re-adjustment to the heat and humidity of summer at home..here's a few snapshots of my adventures.

Summer Saturdays

Hello to all my lovely friends!

It's been a few weeks since we've last talked, and I have filled them with so many memories that I would love to share with you over a cup of iced tea sometime! I've been challenged to grow, dream, value, run, love, share, laugh, create, lead and become more of the person that I've been created to be. I have 2 notebooks filled with words of wisdom and experiences. I just wanted to share a quick hello with you since I don't have enough time right now to cover everything that's happened..It's been amazing so far to say the least, so expect a whole lot of cool stories to come!!

Sushi, midnight Meijer runs, chinese restaurants, intense drama practices, yacht rides, birthdays, horseback riding, shopping, rainstorms, beach trips..oh my lots of fun! :)

I have to add a sidebar thank you to my lovely friend Ashley for making me the beautiful header for Teatime Thoughts! You are so talented, and I am blessed to know you and have your friendship as a part of my life! Check out her creative thoughts She Smiles, She Writes.
Hope you're enjoying your summer as much as I am!

"Great is thy faithfulness!"

Blessings,

Candice
