Thankful Times

(Random photo, from a shoot I did a couple of years ago, that I found on my computer today..whoo!)

As preparations for the Thanksgiving holiday take place, it may be cliche, but I hope you take just a minute to think about all the things you've been blessed with, and the things that make you, you. You are a wonderful person with people who truly love and care about you, and God has blessed you with so much. It's not about the things {and the craziness of Black Friday sales :) } ; its about the simple pleasure of life, the morning given to you each day, the sweet memories and the trying times that have made you strong. I've been doing a lot of thinking about this lately, as it has been a pretty tough season for me; however, I know that God does things for a reason, and this will be something I can look back on later and be grateful for.  Happy Thanksgiving to all of you :) I am certainly thankful for you guys!

I've been busy making food for tomorrow...needless to say, the kitchen smells good!!

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
Psalm 100:4

Blessings and Thanks,

Candice

Moments Captured in Pixels and Letters

It's the start of another week..this weekend was so packed with fun and relaxation.
I've put it in pixels for you to enjoy!
the roses were blooming
a lovely evening for a beautiful wedding
I love spending time with good friends!
beautifully detailed reception
Madagascar Black Vanilla macaron and Butter Pecan gelato mmm..
Morning walk on the beach
All in all, it was a lovely and much needed weekend!

Random Things:
Getting to Know You..
Where do you live:
United States
How old are you:
well, at Church, I'm in the college and career age group...
About the Keratin treatment:
I got the Brazilian Blowout, which lasts for about 3 months, done at the salon,
and the price will depend on the length and thickness of your hair.
Favorite type of tea:
I'd have to say that it's a toss up between Vanilla Chai and Orange & Spice
If you could go back and change one thing about your life, would you do it?
If so,what would you change?
Hmm, I would probably change the fact that I didn't put in the time to become fluent in another language. I took 4 years of Spanish in high school, but I definitely don't remember enough now to say I'm anywhere near being fluent.
What language would you like to learn?
Well, I'd like to become multilingual, so there's a couple :)
French, Norwegian, Korean and Italian are my top picks.

(If you have any other questions, feel free to leave them in a comment below!)

By the way, I'd like to give a quick thank you for the Cherry on Top blog award from the lovely Erin. If you haven't checked out her adorable blog already, you definitely should! Thank you, girl!

Hope you have a wonderful week! As you make decisions whether they be classes for next semester, what to say to a friend or even what do this weekend, always remember:

If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. (James 1:5)

Blessings and Wisdom,

Candice

I'm Famous! (well, sort of..)

Just a quick update..this is just so exciting that I had to share with you all!
This is the newly released music video for the song 'Live It Up' by Group 1 Crew
Why is this awesome? Well, besides the fact that it's a good song, I also happen to be in the music video. Yes, I got to be part of the filming that took place last year, and it was awesome! The group members are the nicest people ever, and I had a blast getting to take part in this! Look for me in the party and pool scenes..I'm the girl in the blue Duke shirt! This song is the perfect way to start off the weekend on the right note :)

Blessings,

Candice
