 I don't know about you, but recently I've been enchanted with all things nautical. From starfish and seahorses to sailboats and anchors, I can't get enough of the ocean-inspired motifs! Perhaps all this summer daydreaming has sent my mind to sea...who knows. Inspired by the sailor style, I paired lemon yellow seersucker pants with classic navy and tiny anchor earrings; add a bit of beachy hair to a Panama hat, and this has to be one of the most comfortable and easy outfits in my closet. It's time to set sail!

Weekend Wanderings

I've been dreaming about vacations all week long, and I think this weekend will find me enjoying a moment or two by the sea. There's just something about a little salty air, the crashing of the waves and brilliant sunset hues splashed across the sky that can solve any problem, alleviate all stress and rejuvenate the spirit. Here's to a weekend of seaside serenity.

Wanderlust

Lately I've been daydreaming about traveling. I love everything about it, from the planning and packing to the airports. There's just something about checking in to a hotel and checking out of the everyday routine that is so delightful. Weekend Wanderings

This week has been a rather productive one. I can honestly say that I got a lot accomplished, and am ready to kick back a little and enjoy these next few days. Supposedly there are some showers headed this way for the weekend, so I thought it appropriate to break out the rain boots...perhaps I'll even find a puddle or two to splash through (that's the real fun in wearing them). Rain or shine, I plan to savor the time.

Three Things on A Thursday

1. Blog dates are the best. Last weekend I had a lucky opportunity to meet up with Jessica from Lovely Little Things, and we had oh so much fun shopping, talking and getting lunch together..(we had quite a lot in common..including a love for all things Zara)! She is so sweet, genuine and all around wonderful. Love her and can't wait until we can meet up again for another shopping trip! :)
