Labor day was spent soaking up the sun on an island not far away. Bike riding, swimming and capturing the moments that hold the last bits of summer was the best way to enjoy the weekend and day off. It is so nice to escape from the normal routines of life and to just be surrounded by beautiful scenery, and island atmosphere. The last few days have felt different, almost as if there has been a
'click' as the transition from summer to fall has begun..sure there's still the warm, warm temperatures, but there's a hint of coolness in the air, and the sunsets are beginning to burn into more brilliant shades as fall approaches. There's that change that's begun; I can feel it. Summer, you were

I always start to crave fall around the beginning of August. But this year, I have been okay with these last summer days. I am glad you had a relaxing weekend enjoying them.
