A Time Like This

Today is National Day of Prayer, so instead of doing a Teatime Thursday, I thought it would be best to just take a few moments to pray for our world, leaders, families, friends..etc.

It's not too hard to find things to pray about, especially after watching the news, so even if its just a few seconds, thank God for all that he has blessed you with, for you are quite blessed! Also, pray for someone else who is in need.

You see, God answers prayer; his promises are never returned void. It may seem like the world is chaotic and on its own, but there is a plan and hope for the future. Prayer doesn't have to be fancy words or memorized mantras, talk to God like he's a best friend, or like he's sitting across the table from you at Starbucks. He's listening, so tell him what's on your mind. I promise, you won't regret it.

Jeremiah 33:3

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

Blessings,

Candice

I forgot that was today! Thanks for the reminder :) Our country and world definitely needs our earnest prayers! I love your comparison to praying being like God sitting across from you at Starbucks :) it makes my heart smile because He IS such a close friend like that!

That is so beautifully written, Candice! With so much going on in our world right now, I cannot think of anything better than to have a nice conversation with Him. So so beautiful!
