Captivated

I just felt like revisiting some of my photos from this summer's trip to Hawaii. There's something so inviting about the untamed beauty of the islands. The colors, the textures and the smells of the local farmer's markets, the crashing sounds of the surf meeting the sand, the way the rainforest-like vistas are unashamedly bathed in color and wild beauty, and the calm strains of old Hawaiian music providing a soothing soundtrack to the vibrant sunset. It's in the midst of a place so captivating that I found myself inspired and amazed at the intricacies of each lovely detail; my mind felt uncluttered and free. Sometimes it's worth the flip through the photos again to remember what it was like to be in the middle of such a fiercely beautiful moment.

You know what I mean?

Happy Thursday!
